If Bogota did it...... Detroit can do it as well
This is a video by e2 PBS called BOGOTA: BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE CITY. It shows how bikes took the city back from the automobile. It is a video which shows in detail what a developing country did to save society. This is what Detroit can do to save her self from chaos.
I don't know to what extent you're using this as a model for your own project. Have you thought about the characteristics Bogotá and Detroit share that would make this analogy a helpful one? What don't they have in common that could stand in your way? To me, this latter question is more interesting, and the more critically your project engages it, the more successful it's going to be. Can't wait to see how it's developing.
